If you ever come to Gandía in summer, prepare to sweat. But do not worry, because I have the perfect solution: ice cream.
After years of living here and trying basically every ice cream shop in town, yes, it is hard work but someone has to do it, I am going to share my five favorite ice cream shops at Gandía Beach.
Trust me, these are the crown jewels of Gandía’s ice cream scene.
Helados Xixona
Helados Xixona, strategically located on the seafront promenade, is one of my must-stops on hot summer days. What I like most about this place is its incredible variety. They have options for everyone: traditional ice cream, vegan choices, lactose-free flavors, and even gluten-free options.
Their mojito flavor is famous throughout Gandía, and with good reason. It is refreshing and has just the right touch of alcohol. As for prices, it is quite affordable. For 10 euros or less, you can treat yourself properly. The only drawback is the lack of a wheelchair ramp, which may be a problem for some visitors.

Gelateria Pinocchio
Gelateria Pinocchio transports me straight to Italy every time I visit. Its chocolate ice cream is, in my opinion, the best in town. Creamy, intense, and with just the right level of sweetness.
In addition to ice cream, their waffles and crepes are delicious. The staff is very friendly, especially Cristina, who is always happy to let you taste flavors before deciding. The only downside is that in summer there are often queues, but the wait is worth it.

Emi Ice Cream Shop
Emi Ice Cream Shop is my choice when I want to try something different. Their creativity with flavors is surprising. The orange yogurt ice cream, for example, is a combination I never would have imagined working so well.
Their star, however, is the Kinder Bueno ice cream. It is an experience in itself, capturing the flavor of the famous chocolate bar perfectly.
They recently removed the option to order two scoops in the small cup and, I will not lie, that hurt a bit. Still, their prices remain quite reasonable, so there is no real drama.

Lloréns y Bahena 2
Lloréns y Bahena 2 offers the perfect combination: delicious ice cream and impressive sea views. Their Belgian chocolate ice cream is exquisite, but my favorite is their version of Kinder Bueno.
One detail I really appreciate is that they offer ice cream for dogs, something I have not seen in any other Gandía ice cream shop. Prices are a little higher, between 10 and 20 euros, but the quality of the products and the privileged location justify it.
Location: Paseo Marítimo, 89 Complejo Acuarium, 46730 Platja de Gandia, Valencia
Cognigni Ice Cream Shop
Cognigni Ice Cream Shop is my favorite option when I want generous portions and intense flavors. Its Argentinian style comes through in every spoonful, especially in the dulce de leche granizado ice cream, which is simply spectacular.
The prices are very competitive, especially considering the portion sizes. The small cup costs 3.50 euros, the medium 5.50 euros, and the large 6.80 euros.
The only drawback is that parking nearby can be difficult, but the extra walk is worth it for the quality of the ice cream.

And there you have it, my personal tour of the best ice cream shops at Gandía Beach. If you come here and do not try at least a couple of these, I will be very disappointed. Enjoy every scoop.
